I have some PMs (about 10% of my portfoio) instead of keeping cash reserves but I consider it a hedge/reserve, not an investment. I'll sell it if the economy crashes and it pumps, but that's not the purpose.

I invest in both. Currently sitting on around 15% in gold and silver. I had some losses form a few bad trades last month and once I get back up to my former ether amount, ill be selling off a large chunk of my investments for gold and silver.

Its just the natural compliment to crypto.
