no not really. bond yields are inverted because the fed hikes so fast. so why would you buy a long dated bonds when the newer ones are going to pay much higher. the fed is nearly done and are projecting rates to be lower in the 3% next year. in which case its worth buying long dated bonds again. yields invert for several different reasons and in this case it was because the fed hiked so fast there was no reason to buy the longer end of the curve. its not a reflection of bearish attitude at all.
