>Did I find a private key?

Went through my computer and found a 24 letter long code of some sort. I Tried to put it into metamask but nope. Can this be a secret key to some wallet and if so what kind of wallet and where would I write it in?

You don't remember what you save on your pc? Are they just letters or are they words? BIP-39 words? I'm not going to waste time on a bait.

yep just random letters, not words. 24 letters in a row. Im pretty sure it has something to do with crypto cause the file name is key_crypto

That's too short for a private key. They might be clues for a seed phrase. First letter of each word would be waaay too hard to crack (avg. 79 words per letter ** 24 = 3.5e45 combinations), but if it's a 12 word seed and they are 2 letter hints per word it's doable. I have a python script and experience with these kinds of things. I'll take 10% of anything I find. You'll have to trust my word but it's still a better option than doing nothing. anonperptrader@proton.me
