That 5% bank account will drop significantly once rats cuts for one, even if rates stay the same (they won't) that 5% doesn't increase by 8-10% per year, it stays 5%, so you are getting shit on by inflation and rate cuts at the same time. I'd rather just keep a few years of expenses in savings and only use that to live on when interest rates are sky high so that I can drip back into SCHD the whole time with its dividends. In this case SCHD still beats savings over the last 3 years even with relatively flat recent growth factored in. >SIGA’s third quarter and year-to-date financial results reflect a relatively minor percentage of full year target revenues ... under the third quarter BARDA contract order, have recently started and we are targeting the delivery of approximately $113 million of oral TPOXX to the stockpile in the fourth quarter. Additionally, in the fourth quarter, we are targeting $15 million - $18 million of international deliveries of oral TPOXX, as well as the delivery of approximately $5 million of oral TPOXX to the U.S. Department of Defense and deliveries of up to $15 million of IV TPOXX to the strategic national stockpile. Based on these delivery targets, we are targeting full year 2023 pre-tax operating income of between $90 million and $100 million

The best you can do is focus on growth etfs like vug schg qqqm vgt etc. They have negligible dividend yields. Over 80% of the s&p 500 pays dividends though so you can't avoid it unless the fund has zero dividend payers which would be stupid. Even if they wanted to reinvest your dividends and take on your tax burden (for a higher expense ratio of course, nothing is free in life) they can't do it because the IRS requires them to pay you the dividends whether you want them or not.

Sure its a less risky investment but your gains will be lesser. CCJ and NXE are the dominant companies in the market so its not that risky. UEC is a gamble. URNM is essentialy spot price already. Just gotta pick and choose what risk vs reward you want. If you aren’t particularly bullish on uranium then yellow cake is a perfectly fine choice.

WMT hotdog buns are perfectly fine. KR is a jew scam altogether, you have to have one of their (((keychain tags))) to get their lower, but still too high prices on shit. It's the same with their brand, they know you think it will be cheaper than the names but "just as good", but it's really as shitty as they can possibly get away with for as much as they can get away with charging for slightly less than the names so the margins on it are way better for them. They are master jews, I will give them that.

This. I don't plan to touch the 401k till I have to as mandated by current govt rules (age 72). So that's a long ass time of getting a break on taxes as well as letting it grow nice and fat. Also I can use my unused vacation time as a 401 boost option for free when the time comes up to whatever amount is allowed, $7,500, I think?, instead of taking a check for it and getting taxed.

Because if not there would be no gains in the market because market return is based primarily on risk. There's always a doomsday scenario right around the corner if there weren't you'd be getting like 2-4% yearly returns. I like to think of it akin to how some animals while dying will get a fear boner in one last ditch effort to pass on its genes. The economy must be kept in a constantly in brink of death fear-fuck mode or oligarchical parasitism won't function properly. Basically ignore it and just BUY BUY BUY because it will never stop.

one i found is HUBG which is a trucking/logistics and the other is called RES don't know which one they are. i tried to evaluate companies that weren't natural gas/oil/banking/insurance/financial services. the tricky industries that are also cyclical. i tried to look at companies that are pretty straightforward so their accounting records can be taken at face value.

the book that taught me is a morningstar book called the five successful rules to stock picking. i would highly recommend it because the author really knows his stuff. the chapters i am about to read it talks about evaluating banking companies and i think insurance companies. he believes if you can cut through their financial statements you can find some great deals.

Getting extremely tempted to buy NVDA puts on monday, I'm feeling bearish on the market as a whole and think it'd be fun to gamble a grand on it. I'm honestly expecting NVDA will have fine numbers on wednesday, but every news article I see is shilling NVDA so hard that surely even just meeting their last earnings call will cause retards to abandon ship. I can easily afford to risk 1k so if I'm wrong I won't be hurting. The main things stopping me are that I just don't want to get into the habit of being tempted by options gambling and how uncertain I feel about the market currently.

I'm holding it because I'm counting on China to pump, stop repressing the tech sector now that Zemin is gone so Xi crowd can take it over, CCP asked Ma and his buddy to come back (we will see if its just for confidence and show), China is down economically and they will need to export more again which helps Alibaba. Ofc, world is more protectionist now so that might backfire.
Often these political issues last shorter than quality, or supposed quality, of a company. I'm betting on the importance (for Chinese economy), reach, margins of Alibaba and that it return back up.

RPC is a holding company for several oilfield service operating companies, all of which have a history of conservative operating philosophies. RPC's corporate management philosophy throughout the years has been characterized by a long-term view of the oilfield operating cycles and a conservative capital structure, which are partially responsible for our historically high returns on invested capital.

>RPC currently operates a number of products and services offered throughout the life cycle of a well. However, three service lines which account for more than 80% of RPC's revenues have benefited tremendously from the growth in directional and horizontal completion in the U.S. land market. These services serve our customers equally in natural gas and oil-directed completion operations.

Think about it, if they print their way out of the debt, default on it, or whatever else, Thanos snaps 34 tril worth of assets into existence and hands it to the treasury and forces them to use it to compensate all their debt holders. Let's just say the debt disappears tomorrow somehow. You still have the same broken government that will spend on a deficient no matter what. The problem doesn't go away forever until they do.
