Their initial inquiry was about my 0.11 btc that was on their wallet .. So why is he asking for me to provide how i got 0.69 btc when if i didn't provide him with my wallet transactions he wouldn't even of known about it

I've already pulled my vast 0.11 btc from their wallet and am now thinking it's probably best to just deactivate my account and block him from emailing me again

I implore everyone TO NEVER PUT YOUR CRYPTO IN A CUSTODIAL WALLET , jesus christ what was i thinking , fucking guys threatening me over 0.11 & 0.69 btc

checked digits
anon not your keys not your crypto. to resolve this you need to dig up where you got the 0.69 btc from - were you paid for services you rendered? did you buy it on a cex? they want documentation

literally only bought 3k worth of btc in 2019 from a btc atm ... btc atm company went out of business and i lost all my passwords to the email and wallet that i originally had which held all the receipts that they want ... all i have transactions wise is from my newer wallet which i already screen capped and sent to them ... what they want is impossible for me to get , and the lousy 3k was just cash savings i've accumulated over my working years

like i would think most people don't save all their shit forever or like in my case lose access to their emails & wallets

blockchain.com (based in england but they do have a american office in miami) they're more so a wallet company that has access to a exchange

My assumption if you got it from an ATM, they flagged one of the addresses you've used in the past. If you're on a "list", expect to explain away

worked in KYC, OP. That 0.69 BTC deposit either got flagged either because:
1) Chainalysis shows sketchy provenance (tainted by either gambling, hacks, ATMs, black market, OFAC sanctions,...)
2) you're a pajeet whose income doesn't match their wealth so they're just checking if you're a gigolo working on the side
3) you're using the exchange to facilitate buying/selling services, they tend to avoid that
4) you got caught in some scam and they're checking how deep you're in
Your best bet is to comply and answer the fucking questions unless you want your account terminated for good. If you go that way, they'll be forced to return that deposit back to you after a while.

ive locked a little of my btc on haircomb
literally nothing to lose, each fee increase means my initial fee payment is worth more
100 dollars of bitcoin in haircomb from 2020 are now worth 2500 dollars. nothing in crypto matches that return

looks to me like a normal SoW inquiry. Are you sure you just didn't go over your declared threshold on the exchange?

What I did was deposit crypto from a hardware wallet they couldn't trace back to the stone age. For this they said fuck all the rest of my crypto on the exchange. I would've just liquidated it and went elsewhere if there wasn't such a tax hit.

>> No.57642821

>>57642789
But they don't even see a hardware wallet. All they see and review is the address you deposited from. But once they do find something sus they go absolutely nuclear on your account until it's resolved with compliance. What a fucking soulless and retarded line of work, thank fuck I got out of it.

I left banking 5ish years ago and even then compliance was never this jewish. We would basically just believe you and leave it to the feds to figure out. I was shocked at how much they expected me to provide, that is subpoena tier shit

>> No.57642994

>>57642874
lmao you'd be surprised at how many SAR and STR are filed by exchanges. Every time they find something suspicious they won't hesitate to send it off to FinCEN or UKFIU, even if you comply. Lost count at how many times I tried telling the jews in compliance they're overreacting and getting overruled every single time. The exchange will deplatform you without a second thought and won't even give you a recourse to contest their decision. There was a major push against this in banking because people needed to have an account to receive their salaries to and no bank wants you as their customer if you have just one SAR on file. It's a jewish world and hope it fucking burns.
