It's not on CM and it seems like a shitcoin, but you could try Aleph Zero (AZERO) as well instead of Alephium (ALPH). I have an okay grasp on hiragana and katakana, but there's no way I'm gonna read kanji without assistance at this point.
I started working on kanji and vocabulary, but I think it's going to take a very long time to get anywhere usable. I need to not give up and continue little by little. Maybe when I'm 30 and become a wizard I can read VNs properly and learn the Japanese glorious ways of picking up women and becoming a true pick-up artist.

Thank you, but it does not feel like I have done much. Hiragana and Katakana was surprisingly not that hard to learn and remember even if it was a bit of a grind in the beginning. I used a mix of some youtube videos explaining things, anki, and kana warrior by increasing the amount of kana whenever I learned more for faster recognition.
In the beginning I was taking effort to learn stroke order and how to write them, but at some point I realized it is better I focus on learning what I want to do than slow myself down with writing kanji etc when I just want to be able to read, listen, and potentially talk when the first two are good.
