Not many projects have high fees. Ethereum mouth breathers are more than happy giving away 50 bucks or more whenever they want to do anything but that's about it. You should be worried about scams though I agree, that's more of a time on the market thing where you just kinda know when something will go to shit by performing very basic background checks. Who made it, how many holders does it have, does it have any protection from whales, how much volume daily, etc.
