I got sneeded hard this week bros. Was loaded up on SPY puts on Monday with a Wednesday expiration. Got shaken out of those for very small profit because of the morning pump had me convinced that cpi was coming in cool. So I switched and loaded up on calls instead on Monday afternoon. Think they were down 10% at 4pm Monday. Woke up to a 87% loss at market open Tuesday and I locked in the loss immediately. Then I revenge traded and bought more calls on Tuesday hoping for a bounce that didn't happen and i ended up just locking in the loss because I realized I shouldn't have opened the trade to begin with. Had I held those till today I would have made back most of my Tuesday loss. Ended up giving back all my hard fought gains for the year and now I'm back to even YTD. Now I need to battle back the right way.
