>literally just finished sending half of my net worth to a fucking Chrome browser extension
The only other realistic choice was to leave in on the exchange (fuck that bullshit)
Won't say which token, but it also has a desktop wallet (but I don't have a compatible OS) and a mobile wallet (I've been on so many weird sites on my phone that I'm sure all kinds of crypto-stealing shit is on it)
Point is, was this a wise decision? I hand-wrote the wallet password and seed words on paper, and the computer is just a few months old with malwarebytes installed, no one else uses it

You should be using multiple wallets for anything over $1000. Having it all in one is putting a gun to your head and waiting for a malware distributor/one bad wallet approval to pull the trigger.

using a computer or an android as a wallet is unironically suicide tier, especially 10x more if it's windows

the only two reasonable locations to store over $10k of crypto is on a hardware wallet or a newer iphone

Dammit....ok, full disclosure: there is another option I see, but I was too lazy to look at it seriously
The crypto I have trades only its native token on CEXes, but there's an erc20 version of it too
They're saying users can use a "bridge" to swap to and from erc20<>native versions of their token. I've never used a bridge before for any crypto
But I do have a trezor.....so the best move is to learn how to use their bridge to get the erc20 tokens to a wallet connected to my trezor?

On metamask, no hardware wallet? You're ballsy, man

I keep all my crypto on an exchange and I feel much safer about it compared to other options.

you'd have to hack my phone, hack my exchange account, and hack three email addresses to steal my crypto. And even then there's a one-week holding period before the crypto becomes transferrable.

self-custody would just give me sleepless nights.

Or the exchange could just exit scam like
>mt gox
>quadrigacx
>ftx
>bitgrail
>coinsmarkets
et al.
Even if it doesnt do that you can bet they have pressure on them from feds to hand your information (external wallets) to them

70k here. 30k is staked in LINK. Been procrastinating buying a hardware wallet for half a decade now. Don't be like me

Im guessing you keep some of your $AGRS bags on that browser extension wallet right? If so, then everything is going according to the plan OP

I got about 400k on my metamask and I sleep comfy because I'm not a dumbass
