XRP Circulation is based on the trust in escrow and thus trust in institutions behaving properly over a long period of time.

Trust that there won’t be corruption by a trusted third party.

This market exists because we don’t trust third parties. They eventually let you down because greed is too powerful a force. We instead trust code and an incentive structure to prevent bad behavior.

Not threat of jail (because when you are rich, you don’t go to jail anyway).

So by all means put your trust in a company and a board who are under no obligation to protect the value of XRP.

Code is NOT law in XRP. It’s trust in a third party.

So if you can’t read code and don’t really care about the details, by all means gamble on XRP. It’s a good game while it works.

But it’s not in line with the values of the cryptocurrency movement.

Even if you don't care about centralization etc., it doesn't change the fact that this is already a 100b mcap shitcoin that doesn't really have room to grow anymore. Even if all you care about is gains, there's much more potential elsewhere now. Literally no reason to invest in Ripple no matter which "side" you're on.
