historically Bitcoin had ALWAYS dumped right before the halving (after that it's only up, the real golden bullrun). Not fudding, just scared by looking at the chart, the timing is on spot sadly. Hold me bros plz.

I could see it dumping as low as 35k. Later this year will be golden bull run though.

>> No.57582567

That happens because some miners become incapable of profiting with emission rate cut in half and thus are forced to dump all their bitcoin and sell a ton of mining equipment which is a self fulfilling act

But if Bitcoin is 70-80k just before the halving date, miners will be fine and won’t need to dump

I know this is biz but none of these dumps matter if you just hodl to early 2025. You shouldn't be thinking of trading right now.

I know its gonna be dump soon. They pump it so we got that euphoria for a while. Read it on an article in twitter and beoble about the DUMP right BEFORE THE HALVING. I believe this february will be closed with a red candle.

So to recap, we either go into a new paradigm which is highly unlikely or we get a huge dump followed by the golden bullrun. Not bad overall but fuck the tunnel people nonetheless.

Historically, BTC never closed above the 61% fibo retracement of the move down, and yet here we are.
Things are always the same until they are different. I sure won't swing trade for a possible -15% and watch it leave me in the dust instead.

The demand is much more substantial and steady now than in previous halving cycles. Any miners who evacuate BTC due to reduced rewards will see their supply absorbed without a hitch. They are no longer big enough to move the price in a substantial way.

Expect BTC to pump big time this week.

There are 2-500 million pouring in every day from ETFs, who the hell is going to dump? It's just asking to get left behind for slightly more returns. I could see if the ETF buying dies down in march, but even then if it keeps going up at this rate we might hit 60 or ATH by then. That would mean plenty of ETF buyers already got a +50% (at 60 if they bought ~40), ignoring all the other buying that would occur with BTC nearing/surpassing the ath.

It's possible but require some pretty significant news occurring or some significant shift from what's going on now, which is certainly possible, but apart from that and it happening soon I don't see how BTC doesn't hit 60 then even ATH much sooner then people expect. I'll be keeping an eye on the etf flows for sure though.

Another thing w/ dips from now on, I wonder how many ETF buyers have a certain % portfolio allocation. It stabilizes it up and down. If btc goes up 50% they sell to rebalance their portfolio to maintain proportions. If it goes down they'll buy more to maintain the proportion. Anyone doing that is like a guaranteed support of the price. Not sure how often rebalancing occurs though.

Call me what you want after what I'm gonna say but for me ALL that matters is the rainbow chart, the rest is only background noise. I'm probably a simple-minded brainlet at the beginning of the bell curve but if I'm right, then there's a dump near 30K on that chart.

That's people going through a bankruptcy not choosing to dump, will probably impact the price but depends on when it hits. (They also asked to do it in kind which would be nice so there isn't selling but I doubt that will happen)
At the current rate of inflows it's just like 2-3 days, curious how much it will build up before they sell. When greyscale was selling the inflows were much lower on the other ETFS
