The whole sector will crash by February 2026. You know how this goes. Nothing huge happens during the halving year. BTC climbs a bit and 1 coin is anointed as king altcoin. Value swishes back and forth between that and BTC for the purposes of accumulated BTC. Still, that altcoin becomes unhinged. During this period, narratives are tested. 2017 was 'everyone is accredited investors'. 2021 was, 'DeFi lets us literally print money/yield farming' followed by some Jimmy Buffet nig nig nig shit around animal coins.

Yeah it’s a shitshow here in the states, that’s my biggest issue with holding my entire stack into 2026 rather than selling most of it. I’m also worried about hiked capital gains taxes and other bullshit that might get baked into the regulations.

There’s also the game theory angle. Can the actual use of LINK counteract whales dumping massive amounts in a panic sell during a BTC crash? Everyone is relying on everyone else to hold and not sell. Just feels inevitable that 2021 will repeat.
