I had 30+ bitcoin in 2016

I had 5+ bitcoin in 2020

I have 0 Bitcoin in 2024

I fumbled Bitcoin so badly, once in a lifetime opportunity fumbled despite people telling me all the time to just hodl and never sell

>> No.57581682

>>57581661
can you explain the 5 -> 0, that seems especially retarded to me haha

also, why don't you just buy some? they're only 50k?

>> No.57581738

>>57581682
Because it would cost me 7 figures to get my original stack back which barely cost me anything

It’s actually way harder to hodl than people say it is, it’s not easy to see your portfolio up hundreds of % in small periods of time and not sell.

It’s why I don’t talk shit about altcoin/shitcoin people who turn $10k into $10m. That would have required some crazy levels of dedicated hodling not sell 10k > 100k let alone 10k > 1m, etc

This. The shitcoin casino has washed us all.
It didn't help that I was a stupid teenager when I got into btc, maybe if I was a 30 yo boomer like i am now, i would have held because I'm more mature and thoughtful now. I was an adhd spaz chasing pump after pump while my Satoshi value dwindled

Every shitcoin (except xmr) has been created to slurp satoshis. That's why every shitcoin does not have autonomous price action but instead follows that of btc.

>> No.57582064

I'm down to .75 BTC now and some random shit coins. I had 25 BTC at one point.

I would have had more for this bull run, but I had major vehicle and renovation costs that hit me unexpectedly so my portfolio was raped away. Ultimately in hindsight, I shouldn't have diversified in 2022, I shouldn't have bought a ram 1500, i shouldn't have listened to right wing schizos who hate making money, and I should have generated more income rather than playing investor prematurely.

Sorry, I meant 15 BTC. That was my highest amount during the 2017 bubble. My highest net worth in the 2021 bubble was 675k with around 10 BTC.

It's easy to understand that now that we are 26+ years old with fully developed brains.
I fumbled eth as well, I bought it at $5 and sold at $12 after the DAO hack only to never buy back in.

It was actually less than 10k in 2016 and going from 10k to 100k in early 2017 was crazy. My average buy was $250~ and my average sell was $3000+

I had 5 btc in 2020 and 0 now. I had a child and watch him full time since then with no income, ended up borrowing against my btc then had to close the position selling the btc at all time lows. I’ve been in for so long and it’s depressing to be sidelined. With no income I couldn’t tap my home equity at the bottom as well. I’m pushing forward reviving some business and will see where that goes.

the only few people who do this are the scam groups that dump their worthless tokens on suckers, like ether or chlink or cardon

I don't think it's that hard to follow at all, but I'll help you out. It's harder to not panic sell if you have low conviction of whatever it is you're holding
