If the company and what it produces is valuable to human beings, then the stock has inherent value. One theory I've heard is that as AI improves, micro controllers and embedded application controllers (largely ARM right now) will be in higher demand for robotics applications.
It's an interesting theory. Personally I like holding MCU manufacturers like NXPI and STM just to get exposure to a lot of this stuff rather than ARM. I've never really been a fan of their business model.

I doubt that's what's actually causing the pump though. I think it's softbank fucking around. They have a history of playing games.
