It always bothered me that all of this ended up on Ethereum and not Bitcoin.
Imagine how huge Bitcoin would be if it was literally the only layer one on the market and solved all problems with scalability and privacy. I don't think anyone can convince me BCH is gonna be that though, because Bitcoin is no longer the only L1 on the market :(

You can see how it happened on the BTC.D chart when the fork occurred. It was the beginning of the end.
I'm not sure if BCH will become the #1 crypto, but I am confident it will flip BTC.

Yeah a big reason why PoW blockchains are great is that you can be given two alternative blockchains and without asking anyone, without even being online, you can figure out which of the two is harder to create, which one had more processors working on it. With PoS you cannot compare blockchains, you have to ask someone you trust which one is the right one, which is the one that most of the network believes to be the real one.

PoS currencies are basically groups of users PRETENDING to be mining on a PoW blockchain.
