suppose they did that. What functionalities will they want to provide? Swaps? Staking? Fiat ramp?
If they set that up, they might aswell be a cex. its highly likely they use transak for a lot of this functionality as delegation and transak uses ccip so they can make an internal low-fee marketplace for swaps and other functions

The truth is, for normie adoption you need centralized entities to come and abstract away the difficulties via things like wallet custody. Otherwise the market will always remain tiny because most people both (1) are idiots and will never figure it out on their own and (2) are idiots and likely would lose everything

All I see here is Robinhood basically using Metamask as a 3rd party wallet management solution. They'll re-skin it so idiots don't have to worry about what chain they're on or what wallet they're using, but there is nothing here that tells me Chainlink is involved or in any way needed.
