This has been going on since December. Insiders are exchanging Tethers for USDC and then cashing out there. Circle has +$2bln in treasuries expiring on Wednesday. If this doesn't get followed up by another 1bln Tether mint, then we know: this liquidity is being used to meet withdrawals.

Thanks for the heads up anon, should I swap my Tether for USDC instead or are they both unsafe to hold right now? If possible, can you please explain in simpler terms why Tether is in trouble right now? I don't really get what is going on and it would soothe my mind to know.

Yes, USDC if you must stay in Crypto. Whether Tether is in trouble or just being used as an instrument is hard to say. Either way, it's smarter to do what the whales do, than what these >>57509530 people will tell you.
