Okay. Look at this and tell me why you think so, particularly as their PE/G ration is below 1. As berserk as their growth has been the price per share HAS NOT KEPT PACE WITH THEIR EARNINGS. And historically their P/E ration, while ridiculous, is no more ridiculous than it's been for most of the past five years.

Now tell me why we shouldn't buy in and follow it around with stop orders and milk the bastard for all it still may be worth, Chart Man.

NVDA is at the top. Apple has been strangely quiet with AI even though they have bought the most AI companies in the past few years. Why is that? They will be launching Siri 2.0 or similar in the next iOS update and with 1 billion users they will capture a large consumer market. How this competes with Nvidia? Apple AI will be using their M2 on device chip negating the need for data centers and cloud computing, the AI will be running on each device.

say a company in the last year has a net margin of 12% which is better than average to pretty good (apparently)

what if they at the same time have a high price-to-book ratio?

could this mean the company is badly prepared to face a rise in the dollar or say interest rates or a market crash.

but, if nothing bad happens, they should come out well in a year or two since net margin is high.

Your all in cost on this is still going to be ~150k after getting utilities set up and buying land. If you’re in BFE you might be more like 100k. Financing is much worse too. You’re better off buying a manufactured home from one of the reputable companies like Clayton. These work better as an Airbnb/ADU than a primary residence. They “caught on” in countries that don’t already have established mobile home distribution unlike the US.

Insurance is probably impossible too since I’d imagine they aren’t built to the wind code but who cares if the structure is only 30k.

Your credit rating is a jewish score that denotes how much of a good goy you are: keeping your debt low, never defaulting, not opening a new account every month, etc

One trap that people fall into is closing credit card accounts. If you have two credit cards, each with a limit of $2,000, and you have $800 to pay on each, you have used 40% of your available debt. You decide to consolidate and move all the balance onto one card. You have used $1,600 / $2000 on one card, and $0 / $2000 on another - still good, you've only used 40% debt. But uh oh! You close the empty card and now you have used 80% of your debt! This hurts your credit score

Despite that, make sure you have assets at 2-3 banks. You can concentrate on one, but it's good to have a small stash in cash something happens. If you're in the US, you have up to $250k in FDIC insurance per institution.

For example, in April of last year, the CEO of New York Community Bank said they had a lot of cash assets and were safe to bail out one of the regional banks that failed. This year, they have to renew a lot of their debts, and it looks like it's at higher interest rates and they have a lot of bad commercial real estate loans. So even though they had a good pool of cash onhand, it looks like it was below regulatory requirements, and if an event happens this year, it might cause some more contagion. Probably nothing, but this is why you want to diversify in every aspect, both in assets and platforms.

Median private sector employee makes like $62k/year. Hungary and urban Poland now have higher actual living standards for the average person than the USA.
I’m just going to keep buying commodity stocks and picking off gold standard international companies when they get cheap. Maybe I’ll do a minimum down payment on a house in a 90% white Midwest town near fracking and agriculture as well. Betting on the American consoomer is retarded.

nta but fellow fidelity user. Their cash management account uses buckets of up to 5 banks which FDIC insures up to $1.25m, the rest swept into money market funds. Treasury market breaking would be bad news for all banks, and the Fed prioritizes financial stability above inflation/employment mandates.

I'd say diversifying institutions makes more sense from a security perspective than a default risk perspective, on chance an account gets compromised or a system is temporarily offline.

What should a value based play against the American empire look like from someone within America? I was unable to invest in things like 20% Russian bonds at the start of the Ukraine war, and I'll forever be envious of that. There's ETFs from Dimensional Fund Investors, Avantis, and Alpha Architect that do factor investing with a global scope, however, in the event of dollar collapse, ETFs denominated in dollars don't seem ideal.

Is the anti-American play to get an HSBC bank account and do Hong Kong investing? How much of a blocker is my American citizenship in regards to global wealth making opportunities? I don't want to be a precious metal doomer; I want to own assets that aren't just stupid rocks.

Hungary is hyperbolic, yes. But the argument for Warsaw having a higher quality of life than much of the US could be made, especially for young people. It’s turned into a business hub for Eastern Europe. At the end of the day if the 80th percentile 30 year old is spending 30+% of their income on mediocre housing in secondary cities (not Miami, NYC, Chicago, LA, etc) you have a serious problem given that in exchange you’re surrounded by crackheads in public.

As an American Tax Cattle, you're not allowed to win by betting against the empire. Best you can do for value I think is Mexican/Canadian equities, speculating on relative currency strength and their labor/resources based economies outvaluing the US's services based economies.

Also Hong Kong's big index, the Hang Sen, serves as a liquidity parking tool for Chinese capital. If you get a USD liquidity crunch due to collapsing empire not being able to service debts, then USD ccy strength rises and foreign equities fall in USD terms.

Maybe it’s changed since I was there with the refugee influx from Ukr and now the infinity bomolians they’re pushing. They’ll pump a little and return to whatever I paid for them. I had some JagX at like, 9 cents, and they published some very promising results recently and the stock went up to, like, ten cents, lol. Phizer has been pretty low for itself lately so I bought a handful of shares to hold, because why not. So, there is my n00b advice.
