I don’t know about you all... but because of Corona this is the first time since college that I’ve felt alive. I have lots of silver and been waiting for something like this to happen for 5 years. The point where things get so bad that 1 silver merc dime will buy me a blowjob from a formerly well to do housewife and her 18 year old daughter at the same time. I’ve been waiting in the shadows laughing at these cuck husbands who buy their wives range rovers instead of buying silver bullion... knowing that I’ll be face fucking their wives mouths for the 1.30$ it cost me to buy that silver dime. Just yesterday at Whole Foods I seamlessly entered into conversation about Corona with a roastie milf that had a ring on her finger in the water aisle... and I said this is all a cover for trump to bring us back on a gold standard. She started looking at me in amazement like she wanted me to paint her lips in cum. At the end of the conversation I’m like take my number l have plenty of protection and freeze dried food if you ever need it and she took it from me.

Why can't I stay on .4channel ?
I go to home and select settings to only display sfw boards (4channel).
Then as soon as I select a sfw board like /c/ or /biz/ or /o/, I get redirected to 4chan.
I wouldn't care but at the top of the page it gives the string of all boards including NSFW and once in awhile I accidentally hit something like /b/ and there you go hundred threads full of BBC in your face
I'm trying to get away from this bullshit and they won't let me stay on sfw 4channel.
How to fix this?

Scrapfren, if you read this, i know you are collecting old throwing weapons, and i've seen this crossbow bolt from the XVth century being auctionned so i thought it could get you interested. Lenght : 10.5cm, forged in one piece.

Sadly there is only 6h30 left before the auction ends. So just in case i email you the reference, and if you see this post you can then look it up.

Speaking of oldies, look at what i just scored frens : a pair of roman lacrymatory flasks in irised glass!
It's coming from a french collector who just sold a bunch of roman era items, mainly amphoras, bowls, vials, terracotta lamps and such from nearby archeologic sites.
Idk how legal it was considering most these items still have archeological tags on them. But he says it was a collection he started to acquire decades ago, and probably that local museums and cultural affairs' offices can't store forever all the old crap they find, so it ends up in private hands.

The dude also had a pretty impressive collection of pre-colombian items who went for very cheap, but since i'm not familiar at all with the stuff i prefered not to test my luck with my untrained eyes and cultural ignorance. Too many fakes out there.

It looks like legit stuff imo, but how many copies were made in recent history to sale the mayan or inca mythos to gulible tourists? Even back during the early 20th c. most likely.
Pic rel could have been worth taking the risk tho, it ended up selling for 12 bux lol...

Huge (for the period) antique silver ingot, cubist head art style, 140gr, found in Lot et Garonne's department, near the village of Bourgougnague, in an ancient mint workshop from the Volques Tectosages tribes.

That's a very good question, and i don't have the answer.
All i know for 100% sure is it's indeed pure silver.
And that i have few hints it's old, mainly because i did some close up with my jeweler loupe on the crevisse you can see on the bottom of the back (2nd pic), and there are what i believe to be concretions of dirt. I'll try to take some pics through the lens and report back tomorrow.

Otherwise i'm still trying to figure out a way to authentify it. My best "evidence" so far is the seller legitimacy, he worked for the DRAC (Direction régionale des affaires culturelles) for a while in this area, he already sold a lot of gallic/celtic artifacts from this region with no negative feedback, and after discussing with him i can say he's pretty knowledgeable on the matter and about the local archeological sites. If it's a larp it's pretty advanced at least.

But as for concrete evidences, i'd need the help of an expert, this is why my best security was to slurp this piece at below spot kek. At worst i've got a weird looking blob of silber for a good price, at best i have an unique artifact millenias old.

>The dude also had a pretty impressive collection of pre-colombian items who went for very cheap, but since i'm not familiar at all with the stuff i prefered not to test my luck

Hey Frogbro, I'm pretty sure your pottery picrel is a relatively modern tourist souvenir, it doesn't look like an authentic precolumbian piece so it's good that you exercised caution. Those glass vials you won look sweet though, the tall one was glued back together which is normal, and it looks quite ancient and typical of Roman vials from the first several centuries AD but there was lots of stylistic overlap between Roman, Byzantine, and early Islamic glass so I can't say for sure. The smaller green vial feels more like an Islamic or medieval piece but I honestly don't have a lot of experience with that kind of material. Maybe you can email me a link so I can see if everything the seller claimed checks out? Thanks for the link to the crossbow bolt too I appreciate it fren, it was genuine and a superior example at a fair price but i already have some like it in my hoard.

Thanks for your early inputs. Happy to hear i got it right by dodging the precolombian crap then. I avoided the mask because i couldn't find any pic of such intricate designs in museums' pics, designs were much simpler from what i've seen. Seemed a bit over the top..
About the smaller vial, what make you think it could be a medieval piece?

>Thanks for the link to the crossbow bolt too I appreciate it fren, it was genuine and a superior example at a fair price but i already have some like it in my hoard.
You're welcome, i didn't know if the price was correct or too expensive, seemed a bit expensive but i thought maybe the condition would make up for it.

>they made a lot of them so for the affordable price you get some awesome history and workmanship, and there are cool different varieties floating around which make them fun to collect.

Thanks for the links, the seller had an eclectic variety of stuff, you should keep watching him to see what other treasures he posts for sale. I really like African "knife money" pieces like this: https://www.ebay.fr/itm/176026145925 , they're not too old and are of course tainted by the black hands which wrought them, but they're still a very interesting medium of exchange.

>>57503662
>could you tell me if this cistophore looks legit to you?

I'm not 100% certain but strongly believe that it is genuine. The uneven surface of the side with the sneks is peculiar and similar to the texture of some cast items, but I think it's just a result of the coin having been struck with worn/damaged or rusty dies. The reverse side was clearly struck with very heavily worn dies, so technically the coin's condition is higher than an average person might assume at first glance but Cistophoric tetradrachms are pretty common so while 100€ is not a terrible price I wouldn't have recommended buying it, I got mine in higher grade and struck with better dies for less than that

Terrible idea. Gold plating adds no extra value while copper coins have really high premiums due to the low value of the metal itself.

That's what convinced me of the genuinety of the coin, we clearly see the silver being pushed away leaving a "trail" as when worn dies are being used. At least that's what i thought.
>but Cistophoric tetradrachms are pretty common so while 100€ is not a terrible price I wouldn't have recommended buying it, I got mine in higher grade and struck with better dies for less than that
Yes, i remember you warning me 'bout that a while back, but tbf i looked after a good deal for few months over here bcuz i really wanted an ancient snekcoin, and i couldn't find a better price. :(
Oh well, i'm not too sad about the purchase, the lot of medieval papal coins i scored the other day for stupidly cheap is paying for it.

Based and flipperpilled, the Cistophorus is a classic coin and the side with dubsneks is always the most interesting, yours looks appealing so it will be an enjoyable fondler. For a coin type that you specifically wanted to add to your collection and which will make you happy 100 is just fine, you're certainly not overpaying. >Those are 100% certain to be fakes, the Caesar elephants are among the most popular and thus most commonly forged Denarii, there are many times more fakes than genuine examples of that issue out there.
Spoopy, i should have shut my mouth lol. I never paid close attention to the coin, it was simply from scrolling down on antique listings i remember seeing this coin pop up more than once for "normal" prices, like around 45-70 bux, but never clicked on the listing to look at it closely. Maybe it even was advertised as reproduction, there are few sellers who aggressively advertise their (huge) catalogue of handmade, old repro coins they sell for between 50-100 a pop, like Coinantix. Problem is they only mention it in the description, so there is no way to know until you click in and read the fine prints or remember their name..
Maybe it's those Julius i've seen.

Or even others denarii altogether, after all elephants also appear on Septimius Severus, Scipio, Metellus Pius or Titus denarii.
If anon have a soft spot for big 'phants i'm sure he'll find a cheaper alternative to the Julius one.

I've always found the SETF slogan pretty retarded, -only willing men can stop financial magick jewry-, but i don't think it was a psyops. I don't believe this slogan ever made it to plebbit to begin with, so they certainly aren't behind it.

Most likely the process was that any watch-worthy documentary on sound money have at some point to explain the central banksters' scam of fiat money, so it's only natural the connexion between sound money = starving the (((hydra))) and their ability to ever devalue our cash was being made in anons' mind.

>i couldn't see pol obsessing over silver all of a sudden the same way a bunch of redditiers are
Yet it's what happened. You are analizing it the wrong way : parasites start to vampirize successful movements once they are well in motion, never the other way around. Parasites don't create or initiate stuff, they simply suck blood from good willed people later on. But you can't call out an entire movement just because few bad (((apples))) decide to make it their grifting hunt zone.
Denouncing the FED will always be based and worth doing. Being a proponent of sound money to protect the commoners from fiat control shenanigans and allowing them to save money will always be based.
Gold and silver as a store of value will always be based and the basis of civilization.

You just simply can't start to whine about silver because a scamming kike decided to pocket some money by shilling juniors.
If pol started to actively get interested into silver it's because it was a logical outcome, and anons from /pmg/, me included, deciding to promote it on pol only set motion for something inevitable.

Plus, you can't take things out of context. /biz/ was interested in a silber moonshot, but pol not so much.
It grew up in their mind more as a way to protect themselves from cyberbullying by governments, at a time where we have witnessed governments all around the world freezing people's bank accounts for holding non-kosher opinions.

People here who were born in Russia have seen their cash and belongings illegally seized by the government to give it back to the Ukro/NAFO war effort. How disgusting is that?
People couldn't access their safes in their banks for MONTHS because they were denied access to the bank for being unvaxxed during the scamdemic.
People who donated to the truck convoy have been reported by their banks to the canadian government who then asked for a complete freezing of their accounts, unabling them to pay for fucking food for weeks in some cases, just for having given 20 bux to a cause they held dear to their heart : freedom from tyranny.

It was also back when (((talks))) about CBDCs started to be perniciously injected from every corner to normalize it in people's mind. CBDCs who were already clear about the goal : prevent people from ever be able to save money/generational wealth and make them into complete slaves a central authority can cast out from society by the anonymous click of a button thousands miles away.

This is why pol started to stack. Proof is there never have been discussions over le hecckin juniors moonshot or even a single ticker posted on silver related threads.
Wanna know the only inorganic thing i've found related to silver on 4chan? The incredibly excessive amount of shut-it-down spamming and the moderation zealousness at banning anons while leaving a free reign to anti-silver spammers with up to 150 posts per thread.

And since it's a contrarian board, of course such unusual attention from bad actors would give even more momentum and credibility to the nefarious effect of sound money over talmudic schemes

As a final word :
Silver may not end the fed, but it may save your life during the next NWO psyops if you post the wrong tweet, hold the wrong opinion at work, refuse an israel "experimental" treatment to run through your veins or decide to homeschool your children.

If you respect the right for men to self-determination and individual freedom, it's literally impossible to regroot ever buying PMs, simple as.
I came in for the moonshot, but i stayed because i refuse big gubment/the corpo synarchy to have absolute control over my life. I refuse to be in a mental state of servitude out of fear from getting financially shut down digitally.
I get back my destiny in my own hands if i stack, and that's the most important thing to me. Numbers on a screen are a simulacrum.

Maybe it was a psyops to P&D metal.
Or maybe you are an agent sent it to make us think it was a psyops to deligitimize people's interest for silver and ignite D&C within stacking communities.

See? With ifs we remake the world. All i know is i'm not a paid shill by foreign entities, but i do have personal interests in silver going up because i'm stacking. Will i shill for something who will eventually profit me? Of course.

See, it's much simpler than what you believe it is. There is no grand conspiracy, it's simply stackers shilling their bags because they genuinely believe in it, as would do hoomers with their home, hoorsers with their horse, pokemooners with their cards.. or anybody with a hobby.

About the timing with GME, it's totally normal, WSS literally rose up *because* of it. Back in context : GME continue to moon, hedgies start to freak out, (((clearing houses))) too, due to the lack of collateral, and they force Robinhood and few others brokers to freeze the buy button.
Only allowed to sell, unable to purchase, GME start to violently plunge into the abyss. Public outrage, and the (((white house))) of course decide to back up the financiers against the american citizens.
Wall street once again scamming commoners and not respecting their own rules while inventing new rules on the fly when it doesn't go their way.

But remember : it's not only GME, there was a frenzy about looking after the most naked short companies listed across the world. Another popular ticker being AMC back then, but a dozen others were targeted too.
Here come the collision between WSB and silver stackers.

WSB in their quest for short naked companies scrutinize Blackrocks' numbers on all their tickers. When looking at their ETFs, they figure out there are x130 more paper silver claims getting sold on the financial markets than collateral silver being mined.
Since the trust for brokers was at 0%, you now have a match made in heaven
>ultra shorted commodity with uncollateralized IOUs
>a physical medium who can't get frozen by wall street and on which you can claim full ownership over, unlike stocks

The strategy is talmudproof in theory : stack physical silver they can't steal from you, let the ETF implode when people ask after the real deal.
What you are getting wrong in your idea of how things evolved is that it's WSB who was behind WSS/silver squeeze, not some bad actor waiting in the shadows.

Idk on which board it started, maybe /lit/, or /his/, or maybe even /x/, but it immediately resonated with me. So what? It's still an enormous population, and the most worrisome part is the majority of it probably is owned by few stores who got the original allocations, or shady guys working in the grading industry.
Exactly how they did with vintage vidya and pokemon cards. The day they decide to open the gate in full instead of slow dripping the high grade stuff, the price collapse and private owners are left holding the bags.

Nothing wrong with speccing on collectibles, but at least try to make sure the stuff you are invested in is genuinely in the hands of collectors rather than artificially pumped by giga-hoarders.

You're welcome fren. Not advising you to especially target coins, there are many avenues, but i just want to make sure you know the grim reality behind modern graded stuff.
There was a very eye opening documentary delving into the matter concerning vintage vidya grading and how they operated.
It turned out vintage vidya games were purchased by the (((owners))) of grading companies, who bought it for 20 bux off ebay, then slapped a 20K pricetage on it, bought it to themselves to make numbers appear huge online, then paid youtube influencers like (((Logan Paul))) to create a frenzy about "infinite moon mission", "superduper rare vidya is the new retirement plan!"
Fun coincidence is everybody involved in the scheme was jewish. Literally everybody.

A friend of mine was in this situation years ago. He found back a very high end card, but somehow was offered only a fraction of what the prices were showing on auctions. Just like with the diamond industry. The only people buying $20M diamonds are the ones selling $20M diamonds, and they only buy it from their best buddyberg. If you show up with your diamond they will propose you 500 bux.
The important part is for you to believe your diamond is worth $20M, even if the true market value is $500.

I don't think it was pyramid scheme or short term play. If they really wanted to pump and dump why only exploit a 27-23 (your numbers) spread? Why not take it to significantly higher prices? Because they simply cant allow that to happen. They had to bat down the price to scare everyone away. Whatever the real price of silver is its a ridiculous bargain.

I take safe bet to mean it has limited downside and almost unlimited upside. Silver will never perform like a traditional investment. It will always be suppressed until one day they can't. It's a long play and it's not everyone.

And it's not like any grifter had the capacity to pump silver or gold by themselves anyway, the entire idea of PMs getting used as a Pet Rock frenzy by scammers to P&D is nonsensical. We are talking about trillions' deep market here, not some Star Wars figurines.
Can you imagine Jimmy calling JPM on monday morning and asking politely if the most powerful bank in the world could pump silver so he can make few Ks out of his tweeter account by shilling scammy juniors lol?
We need to get real for a minute.
The big bois only want one thing and it's to preserve the hegemony of their fiat currencies they can print or destroy at will. They will never take the risk to pump the only legitimate alternatives to their tool of enslavement just so they can make few bucks.

It certainly does, but you wont be subjected to it as long as you avoid the high-end graded stuff.
It certainly is much easier for them to receive a large allocation from a mint and decide it's worth a lot, than to scour for oldies online and slowly build up a collection and then decide it's worth a lot.

Especially since with modern bullion they know the exact initial population. With an old coin they try to snipe and pump, a single discovery from a sunk boat and the population can triple overnight. Is this a risk they are willing to take? I don't know for sure, but if i were them i'd go for the risk-free option where i can be involved in the full process.

>> No.57508216

>>57508109
It's definitely a risk, but it's one I learned very early. I found a coin worth $400, population of 2. I went out and found a bunch more because I didn't understand the market. By the time I was done, the population was over 20 and the coin was selling for less than $100. Probably pissed a few people off. So I learned to hoard inventory. I don't do wash trading, but I probably could if I wanted to get the price back up where it started. I see that as unethical though.

But holding inventory off the market to keep prices from crashing? I totally do that. If I have the entire population of some coin in my collection, I'm not going to just dump it all on the market at once. It would crash the market temporarily, and I'd be the one eating the cost of the crash.

I'm not sure what-all nonsense or facts are being spewed here, ... y'know record albums - a medium for music - one colloquial term is "vinyl". It's called that because it's made of... you guessed it ... polyvinyl chloride. So when someone says PVC can ruin vinyl records, you know they're talking out their ass.
As for PVC breaking down, well... imagine all that PVC used to make pipes. Or house siding - because it holds up even when exposed to soils of various types, water, sewage (and who knows what chemicals in addition to sewage get dumped) sunlight, and the elements.
What can break it down is a type of fungus.
PVC is bad for coins mostly because of the chlorine in the PVC (the "C")
https://www.thesprucecrafts.com/pvc-damage-on-coins-768300

>> No.57508801

>>57508780
It's the softeners used to make the clear PVC flexible. Those softeners aren't used in records or pipes or house siding or modern archival grade plastic holders.

the chlorine is part of the problem, but the softeners are gummy and leak out of softened PVC over time. They can ruin pretty much anything. They even gum up empty coin holders. You get this semi-liquid green gunk built up in the pocket that softens plastics and destroys paper.

Then he led me to the gate, the gate facing east. And behold, the glory of the God of Israel was coming from the east. And the sound of his coming was like the sound of many waters, and the earth shone with his glory. And the vision I saw was just like the vision that I had seen when he came to destroy the city, and like the vision that I had seen by the Chebar canal. And I fell on my face. As the glory of the LORD entered the temple by the gate facing east, the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold, the glory of the LORD filled the temple.
While the man was standing beside me, I heard one speaking to me out of the temple, and he said to me, “Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place of the soles of my feet, where I dwell in the midst of the people of Israel forever. And the house of Israel shall no more defile my holy name, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoring and by the dead bodies of their kings at their high places, by setting their threshold by my threshold and their doorposts beside my doorposts, with only a wall between me and them. They have defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed, so I have consumed them in my anger. Now let them put away their whoring and the dead bodies of their kings far from me, and I will dwell in their midst forever.

"As for you, son of man, describe to the house of Israel the temple, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and they shall measure the plan. And if they are ashamed of all they have done, make known to them the design of the temple, its arrangement, its exits and entrances, that is, its whole design; and make known to them as well all its statutes and its whole design and its laws, and write it down in their sight, so that they may observe all its laws and statutes and carry them out. This is the law of the temple: the whole territory on the top of the mountain all around shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the temple.

but they're measuring popularity in global sales, not local, and they're faking anything that sells enough units to make it worthwhile.

they definitely prefer government issue coins, but I wouldn't just assume rounds are real simply because they're less popular. They only need to sell a few hundred fakes worldwide to pay for production.
