financially speaking, what is your opinion and experience on adult autism diagnoses?
im a burger and it seems like a huge waste of time and money just to have some dipshit put an official label on me, but it opens the possibility for neetbux and possibly diversity points during job searches

>> No.57456152

It also means you will be considered retarded any time you have to deal with healthcare, will have an easier time getting institutionalized, etc. Not sure about how it is in yankland, but here in eurocuntry you have to fight tooth and nail to get neetbux even after spending 3-4 years convincing mental health professionals you're an autistic spastic.

>opens the possibility for neetbux
it doesn't unless you have debilitating autism. kek.
>diversity points
diversity points are for being a nigger, a woman, a tranny, etc. no one cares about autists.

We're all pretty much the same when it comes to neetbux, since all our governments are neoliberal slaves to the US, NATO and the EU. They're all cutting down on neetbux to give more welfare to brown people.

yuros always claim they're from "europe" instead of their specific country, that way nobody can call them out on anything

Both welfare and neetbucks should be 0 but it's not like our governments give a shit about the deficit and debt anymore, it's all just numbers on balance sheets

I'm like 99% positive that I'm autistic, but never felt the need to get it labeled by someone. Feels like a path into embracing victim culture which is a cancer on society and your own mind. Just learn about yourself and how to better account for your flaws and special needs as you get out into the world. It's not like there is medication for being an autist.

Any functioning, homogeneous country needs to have some form of neetbux, or an economic goal of full employment instead of chasing GDP at the expense of portions of your population. In either case it all completely breaks down if you allow browns in.

Every autistic is torn between wanting to utilise their disability as a status symbol in the age of identitarianism and trying their best to convince others that it's not actually a disability, that they're not retarded, etc.

It has to be the single most overdiagnosed and misunderstood issue in modern neurology, perhaps tied with ADHD.

full employment is always preferable, welfare systems always end up creating a culture of leaches and lazy people.
But yeah shitskins should never be allowed in no matter what

I agree with this, I was allowed to slip through the cracks of society and even encouraged to claim due to various mental illnesses. The welfare system has actively facilitated me becoming a parasitical organism, and if I try to pry myself out of this pit I'm met with a host of women who think they're caring by shoving me back into it and telling me it's okay because I'm sick. I just wanted to lead a normal life.

sounds like a bad choice then
im interested in the opposite now, though- are there any other big financial downsides to being labeled as an autist?
like how the first anon mentioned being considered a retard with healthcare and it being easier to get institutionalized

>>57456283
i agree, learning to properly handle or even utilize my flaws instead of excusing them as autism has brought me a long way.
id like to think i would have, but i cant say for sure that i wouldve acted the same if i was diagnosed as a kid and that excuse was an option.
however, aside from any potential technical reasons, i also started considering a diagnosis because being able to easily explain to others why i might act unusual when they ask sounded appealing.
i cant bring myself to ever suggest autism with no diagnosis unless im on my anonymous shrimp farming forums

Psychologists and doctors will ascribe health issues to your autism which can cause you to develop severe medical issues because doctors will miss them.

In legal matters, it can and often does become an issue for certain jobs, for example the military but also security clearences etc. There's also the stigma involved.

>i also started considering a diagnosis because being able to easily explain to others why i might act unusual when they ask sounded appealing
You don't have it. It's overdiagnosed as it is. We don't need another 30-something-year-old with no characteristic autism presentation as a kid to claim another diagnosis.

>You don't have it
>30-something-year-old with no characteristic autism presentation as a kid
why assume?
i absolutely showed signs as a kid and my parents were recommended to get it officially checked out multiple times, but they would just seethe and ignore it.
many such cases
i am freshly independent, which was another reason for the consideration- but ill consider myself lucky for avoiding it

I watch that show Love on the Spectrum. Some of the women frighten me because they seem pretty normal. Are all women on the spectrum?
