I just read that Amazon increased average wage for warehouse workers to $20.50 from $19 in and began offering a $10 an hour bonus for extra hours. Does this mean they were paying workers $40 bucks an hour in Q4? If so, how can the be sustainable? No wonder the military can't recruit.

Consoomers keep buying shit, they can't help themselves. Amazon is growing every quarter, and if they need to raise wages to steal workers from competitors' warehouses it is worth it.

Except average house price is $380k and in 2019 it was $290k so no. As a cost to average salary the US is one of the cheapest nations in the world to exist.

Extra time is overtime, in America that is paid at time and half.

Amazon is raising wages because people are burnt out on their shitty job and any less no one would even bother with that shit because Amazog's entire retarded strategy was specifically to burn people out because "there are always more" until 15 years later when people realized that job sucks shit.

The military can't recruit because we objectively live in an anti-white sovietesque oligarchy which will probably try to break up the USA to retain power and all wars are fought purely to benefit rich boomers and kikes who ran the country into the ground so they could rape teen girls on epstein island and in the new york jew tunnels. All so white men can sleep on rodent infested beds in fort bragg while trannies tell them how important it is to not misgender the enemy.

Also the pay is pretty bad on top of everything else.

That's 30 a hour brainlet and is just a kikey way of wording overtime which is legally required to be paid after either 8 hours of work or more than 40 hours worked in a week

Nah, for the most part, I was blessed and could just chill. There were a good number of team outings where we went to have meals on company dime, got to get some kino bacon cheeseburgers and ribs. Fuck, meat makes my mouth water and I don’t get enough of it. Goddamn, if I make it this bull, I’m gonna have a little phase where I just eat primo cuisine, steaks, filleted salmon, occasional goyslop chicken wings/pizza when I’m stoned.

I’m cutting body fat currently , so food is so much more prevalent in my mind. I swear I could just shoot a nigger for a cheeseburger. Even a fucking McDonald’s one. Or a bacon and egg breakfast sandwich. God I feel such strong craving.

Not really, I worked there before, it's not hard, but so mind-numbing, I only did part-time, but know how it goes. Peak is from thanksgiving to christmas, and they make people work 5 11-hour days, and the max allowed is 60, so at most you could pick up is 5 hours at that rate, and it is probably some middle of the night shift. The work is a lot of repetitive motions and bending, rough on the feet and back to do long-term.
so you get 20x40 + 30x15 + 5x40, so $1,450 before taxes. And that is 5 11 hour shifts plus a 5 hour shift, really not worth it.

I was a manager at the largest Amazon warehouse in NYC, the famous one that tried to unionize. I was making 62k a year as a salaried exempt manager, but I was working 60 hours a week so it was basically 20 an hour. I did the math one day, a random unskilled thug from brooklyn who walked in to work off the street and did full 40+20 VET a week made more than me. My hourly assistant manager made more than me at 50 hours a week. Also I would get constant messages on my days off I had to respond to. Don't get a manager job there you're unironically better off being a mindless wageslave packing boxes 10 hours a day, pays better and less stressful. But yeah its true if you have zero skills but a strong back and high boredom tolerance Amazon is a good job its way better than fast food or retail where you have to deal with customers(every employee ive ever had there told me it was a way better job than Mcdonalds and paid way better too.)
