You're right, it's not an end-all-be-all cure. I can't really say whether or not there really is a "cure" or set of "cures", it really just depends on your own personal circumstances.
That being said, engaging in physical fitness is free of charge. You do NOT need a gym membership, and if you decided to get one anyways, the most expensive I've heard of (outside of anomalies like Equinox) is like 40-80 dollars a month, and that's on the higher end ones like Good Life Fitness where the locations offers pools and a vast array of equipment and such. Keep in mind I'm working with CAD, not USD, so it's even cheaper for you (nominally, and presuming you live in the US).

Home cooking and meal prepping, while a good skill to have in-and-of-itself, is also financially a net-positive, as it's far cheaper than uber eats or whatever other zogchow/goyslop people overpay for the privilege of poisoning themselves with nowadays. Just take like an hour to go through websites of grocers, compare prices, see if it's financially worth driving to this or that store w.r.t. gas vs savings on groceries by bouncing around instead of buying everything at XYZ location, etc etc etc. Do your own research, buy bulk, save a shit ton of money overtime while ingesting food that is not poisonous.

I personally think it's true, and not just because of the newer research showing that different fungal strains can produce excessive amounts of neurotransmitters, but because I've cured my depression and anxiety by taking antifungal supplements and stopping consuming anything with yeast in it. I've been doing it for over 7 months now and it's the absolute greatest thing I've ever done for myself. It also cured my athletes foot, IBS, and I don't seem to need ADD meds anymore.

I still drink alcohol occasionally, just not beer. Alcohol itself will help the fungal colonies cross the gut and contribute to the leaky gut symptoms that allow the fungal overgrowth to cause things like mood disorders. Eh, I did change my diet pretty drastically but it's not a painless ride. It sucks pretty bad at points and I had to back off and restart after a few days at least 2x at the beginning. It's not a quick fix, it takes some time. People try doing fasts or prescription antifungals but their symptoms often come back a month or 2 later. This is more like a marathon instead of a race where you slowly keep chipping away at the fungal colonies and get them under control.
