once the court declares him as satoshi, he can legally offload his millions of bitcoin in the tulip trust

additionally, no exchange(coinbase, binance) will be able to call segwit coin as $btc, they will have to rebrand. $bsv will be taking the $btc ticker, since it aligns with satoshi's whitepaper

If he was actually Satoshi, then he'd be able to produce mathematical proof of it. Mathematical proof is the only thing that cannot possibly be faked. Everything else can be faked and is based only on human opinion (that of judges and barristers). It's not nearly as robust as the mathematical proof that the actual Satoshi would easily be able to provide

>> No.57423027

The judge demaded the proof. After which he made a settlement offer.
All he has to do is sign a message with the address that mined the genesis block. Otherwise he can shut his face.

Just the other day I lost ownership of my tesla as an individual stole the keys out of my satchel while I was ordering my onions frappucino. Unfortunately I was unable to verify the thief's pgp key so I could not put out an anonymous hit on him. I returned home to tell my wife but to my dismay I only found a woman at home that looked exactly like my wife but was unable to publicly sign the private key I had given her to verify our marriage, claiming it had been left in my tesla. Obviously i moved out immediately as I could not trustlessly verify the identity of this woman claiming to be my wife.

Some time passed and one day I was lucky enough to come across my tesla. Chasing down the young man who had parked it I demanded his pgp key so that i could initiate a ransomware smart contract to blackmail him into returning the private keys of my car to me. To my great relief it turned out this young man was my wife as before I could send the gas to the smart contract he publicly signed a message with my wife's private key. In the end we all laughed, I just have no idea how we ever trusted anyone before bitcoin

Anon, you don't sign a block, you sign a transaction from a wallet (the private key in particular). A block merely contains the transactions. The genesis block is the first block of transactions. After that, you add a new block of transactions to the previous block and essentially form a blockchain of transactions.

https://andersbrownworth.com/blockchain/

If he had the keys to Satoshi's wallets, he would have immediately broadcasted signatures the moment he went public with his claims of being Satoshi and we'd have a completely different crypto world (well, only within the BTC sphere) and perception of him.

That tweet/judge proposition is meaningless as he had ages to prove he was Satoshi before it got to that point where he was in court.

Anyone can send BTC to any wallet. Proof of identity comes from signatures. And again, you don't send BTC to a block. You send it to a wallet

https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/block/0

This is the genesis transaction. Satoshi put only one transaction in there, broadcasting a message

> EThe Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks

After posting the transaction and mining the hash (the string with zeroes at the top) to head the block, he got rewarded with 50 BTC that was sent to that address specified in the transaction link at the bottom.

> 1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa

You can only speculate as there's nothing conclusive to state; anyone can send BTC to the above address. You can even send BTC to dormant addresses with zero BTC (sending crypto to an empty address doesn't necessarily mean someone has or has generated the private key to the wallet).

Then you can speculate that Wright sent that amount to the wallet in defiance or trying to gaslight people he's Satoshi by association. If he moved that exact amount OUT of the genesis block miner's wallet then it would mean something because only Satoshi should have access to the private key of that wallet.

Remember, we're trying to deduce Wright's claim as Satoshi. The way to do that is to demonstrate control of one of Satoshi's wallets. Sending crypto to Satoshi's wallets DOES NOT hint at being Satoshi. Anyone can send BTC to to those wallets.
