Technically BTC and real estate are both considered inflation hedges so they serve a similar purpose. Your move is basically a derisk, because RE is the safer bet. I respect your ability to derisk and not chase quick millions. That being said, this site has too much of an all-or-nothing attitude. I would have maybe sold 6 BTC and bought 2 houses, and just left the other two BTC in case BTC goes to $1m for no apparent reason.
