is this going to be the new cope?
he's here forever, isn't he?
even after he admits the LARP sham, he's going to keep shitposting IRL, isn't he?
lol

Funniest thing is how Satoshi's keys are linked to Satoshi. And Craig has never had them and never will, so he's never been able to and never will be able to sign or move any of Satoshi's coins.

I roughly 60% believed you guys about Craig when BSV came out a few years ago. It just seemed weird that someone so crazy would stay at it for so long, but at the same time I was very doubtful. Now I'm more shocked it was all a sham.

God damn I wish John McAfee was still around to talk about it.

>It just seemed weird that someone so crazy would stay at it for so long
It makes perfect sense when you consider his allegiances and that he's paid to do what he does. It's his job to do what he does. It's not just a sham, he's not just a hoaxer. He's a well-paid, well-supported glowie asset.

He's not simply running a scam, he's also hellbent on destroying/stopping crypto and wants all wallets to require KYC to use and he's extremely pro taxation etc and all other forms of financial governmental controls. In one interview years ago he talked about how moving Bitcoins "across borders" should trigger AML alerts and require some authorities get notified of the transfer, and that the (across borders) transfer limit should be the equivalent to $200 or $250 or so because "that's the law/regulation" or something like that. He's also extremely anti-anonymous and anti-XMR etc. He said in another interview he thinks basically it's "unfortunate" people see crypto as anti-government and he says the USD will not collapse and Bitcoin isn't about any of that.

Of course he isn't, if he was (or even if he wasn't but lets say his glowie handlers had somehow obtained Satoshi's keys and given them to him) then he would've signed long ago. He can't sign. Which is why he's so anti the whole concept of "your keys, your coins" and says keys don't matter.

Is it possible BSV will be used in the future for some Govts CBDC? It seems like this is what they are trying for. Let's take Craig out of the equation here but wouldnt this make any early adopters of BSV really wealthy? I'm just thinking out loud here but is this possible 5-10 years down the road?

>> No.57402276

>>57402241
He tries to popularize/normalize (and totally failing at doing so) the idea you need some sort of official government/legal document, tied to your ID, stating that the coins belong to you for them to be yours -- that that's what identity on Bitcoin should be about, that your keys mean nothing. The only people he has managed to convince in this regard are the BSV baggies.

No because why would "number go up" with anything CBDC related? It's digital fiat. CBDC is the polar opposite of Bitcoin. And anyway Craig is extremely against people profiting off crypto, he says stuff like picrel.

The most common reason for why anyone believes/trusts in any thing which they shouldn't believe/trust in, whether it's BSV or XRP or any other garbage, is because they've been made into baggies of said thing and instead of admitting to themselves they fucked up and instead of cutting their losses and freeing themselves they convince themselves (and each other) that their investment must be the greatest thing ever and if they just hoddel with le diamond hands for 2 more weeks then eventually it will all be okay. The BSV baggies, many of them, when they realize they lost money and missed out on many good coins, instead of getting disillusioned they just entrench themselves deeper into their baggie community, into their cult. Instead of feeling tricked, or precisely to avoid feeling tricked, they start believing even more in what Craig says and that BSV is the real Bitcoin etc and the best investment ever.

Picrel is GME, this is the sort of mentality many baggies have. Every baggie community turns into an absolute cult, whether there's a cult of personality involved or not.

The 'patents' will probably prove about as reliable as the rest of his trash. But as all cregs ass belongs to Calvin anyway, can't see him being in any hurry to risk getting rekt in court suing over some claimed infringement. And cregs about the very last person you would want involved in complex tech litigation anyway. Better just to go on pretending they are worth something rather than have that illusion put to the test.
