this is the problem. we war gamed this out years ago when we were first getting into link. a lot of threads were about not letting your life go to shit and holding and protecting your link stack and advancing in other ways until you actually make it. not saying i did that either lmao, i too am a not doing much better than years ago either. better in some ways, worse in others. but we did discuss it a lot. to not slack off and let yourself think you've already made it. to improve your life in all areas so that when you make it with link you have a good baseline of health, skills, connections, etc. but there's still time.
