Do you stop making investments at 6 figs? Do you become more scared to invest more money into potential rugs/losses at that point? Is that why so many get stuck in 6 fig hell? I'm also assuming at that level you just hold blue chips.

These aren’t ai generated. The artist who made those has been drawing wholesome nun girl pics for a while now, before ai was even a thing. You’re not gonna make it if you can’t tell what’s real from what’s ai.

You don't stop investing but you do typically become more risk averse... whatever got you to that six figures was probably a 1/100 shot and you fucking nailed it... you've now seen the other 99 things come and go, some of which you actually thought might have also been decent. You've seen a few other 1/100's come up as well but you realize at the end of the day one wrong trade can destroy you.

You still have conviction over your investment. You know it's unlikely to take you again from peanuts to riches but you don't need it to anymore. It has survived when most everything else did not. It has not only survived, it has gotten even stronger.

You really just need a 3-4x, and anything more than that is icing. It can happen still, you believe it can... so why risk it?

But then years pass and you're still stuck in some shithole market with way too much volatility and you watched yourself go from near millionaire to low six figures. Now you're back in between. A solid $500-700k even, and you feel good again. This time, you might even sell some.

Or maybe you won't, because you still believe. And maybe this is the time it finally goes to $1,000.
