The operative complaint alleges that defendants did not register Dfinity's cryptocurrency “ICP tokens” as a security with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and “reaped billions of dollars in profits” by unlawfully “selling and promoting these unregistered security tokens to investors, and by transacting in them while in possession of material, non-public information.”
