Inflation is an excuse for companies to increase profits, benefitting shareholdings and CEOs while gradually fucking over the common worker more and more.

Input prices increase, product prices increase. No effect.
Later on Input prices decrease, product prices stay the same. Profit increases.

Keep on doing this until all money goes to the people at the top owning all the assets and regular folk can't afford to buy a house or car despite how much debt they take on.
