No. Halvings are mechanical in nature, almost all miners sell most coin as soon as they get them to pay for operations, as price increases in the run up to the halving more and more miners dump, acting as a negative feedback loop, this is why halvings can't be frontrun. After halving miners have 50% of the coin up dump and the market must find a new equilibrium price, resulting in the cycle we know and love
