I just got a performance review and I got an above average review but they gave me a 0% raise. What the fuck is going on. This level of disrespect makes me want to quit without giving two weeks but I feel like it’s unprofessional

Update your resume and start looking for a new job. Any company that doesn’t offer a decent raise for employees that meet or exceed their performance expectations is a shit company. When you leave remind them that you were always going to get a raise, either through a merit raise or by jumping to a new company. And they were always going to spend money by either giving you a merit raise or by having managers and team members sit through endless rounds of interviews finding your replacement

lol raises are for the C-level management only, these guys will have a meeting every couple of months and vote on giving themselves raises while cutting employees. Also, performance reviews don't mean shit, I know a guy who worked at my company for 11 years and got perfect reviews until company decided to lay him off for no reason.

Job/role hopping is the only way to make money or experience. This is just the way it is now. Being in the same sport for more than 3-5 years is financial suicide. I work in a big company and it's pretty much understood that people are going to jump to new positions every 12-18 months for pay bump and/or exposure.
