Imagine a contract between you and your boss, but neither you or your boss can fuck it up otherwise a robot comes to fuck your anuses.

It's basically an automated middleman that will execute stuff according to what a contract says.

A vending machine is the original smart contract.

>put money in
>soda comes out

Now apply that concept to commercial logistics.

>manufacturer delivers goods
>smart contract pays manufacturer immediately

No more invoices. No more accounts receivable. Very nice.

>but who asked for this? what specific problem is this going to solve?
It solves trust issues, like the one between you and the nigger trying to sell you crack.

it's something we already solved with the classic middleman, but middlemen are not always trustworthy as well so we tried to implement automation like everything we did in our industrial civilization. Or at least it is supposed to do it.

The problem is not using a lawyer, the problem is the contract should automatically recognize a contract break and communicate that to the lawyer and starting some kind of procedure.

Think about it like this: Do you enjoy having to call insurance and fight them everytime you need something that you're contractually paying for? If the answer is no - use a smart contract. No more bitchy greedy faggots telling you what you can or can't do with your money. Snap a picture of your car wreck, money gets insta deposited, self driving tow truck shows up in minutes, self driving uber picks u up and drops you off at the nearest hospital for an automated check up, another smart contract executes and contacts your boss to payout your sick leave, two minutes later another ghost driver uber picks u up and drops u off at the hottie AI nurse for the suck and fuck that u smart contractually signed years ago in case of need of a pick me up from depression. Hours after you've had your way with her, you arrive back home to a brand new car that drove to your house the second you snapped a pic of your car wreck, and, with everything taken care of in under a day, hassle free, you're ready to lie down and recover with all your needs met. Almost like it didn't happen at all.

>what specific problem is this going to solve?
None, that is the whole reason our civilized societies have 100s of years of legal frameworks built, tried, and expanded. The entire commercial world functions due to treaties and international agreements ultimately built on top of the western foundation of law. Contract law doesn't need to be smart because humans are smart. There is a reason you pay a lawyer for important stuff.
