Is this platform going to have games such as texas holde'em and other player vs player modes?

I used to play on pokerstars and 888, made a decent chunk of money but am not able to play anymore because of Australian regulations on online gambling. Fucking cunts...

Probably have any game they want to make. The special sauce is the random number generator in smart contracts.

you can go to showcase.funfair.io and see a demo version of the product that currently has 12 games with plans to expand. they don't currently have texas hold'em but if I had to guess it'll be added at some point.

It's getting released quite soon right? Do they have a list of what games they'll be launching with? And do you mind explaining the random number generator?

I don't necessarily believe that FunFair will be the long term winner in crypto gambling but for sure the future is bright as fuck for this space.

I've been waiting for an ICO known as Virtue Poker to come out as it's backed by Mike Novagratz and a heap of pro poker players simply because I want to play some fucking poker again.

PvP games require a way to prevent player collusion, according to the CEO on Discord:

"our team has come from poker and done that for more than ten years prior to funfair, so if we ever want to do poker, we're the guys to do it. but we dont think in the short term that the blockchain market is ready for poker, because of the chance of cheating when games are played purely peer to peer with no 'house'. the tools and requirements to stop cheating are difficult, and in the first instance, require robust identity enforced for the users to play. this is something blockchain players wont be happy about so we have to wait til identity systems like civic and uport have not only launched fully, but are widely adopted by real players."

wouldn't a solution to that be to allow token holders to stake a node that acts as a house or something? I dunno...

i wrote in the other thread:
at 5 billion market cap it will be worth 1 dollar approx. i think it can hit that in a year, no sooner, unless some BIG boys come out to have some fun nh

so if it hit 5 dollars end of this year it would have a market cap of 25 billion dollars? i highly highly doubt that shit unless like i said some big boys come out to play with my fun benis, MAYBE 10billion is not out of question, i called 1-2 dollar eoy last week, Q1 will be interesting
