I had plenty of time to party, date and travel in med school. Just took six months more than usual to graduate. Also now i can just name my hours and take off days/vacations when i want while taking in huge pay. The demand for doctors is crazy because of aging boomers, young people having a huge amount of mental issues and all the immigration. The stress isn’t bad kind of stress, after you get over the initial fear (which i guess guys on 4chan don’t get over in anything in life) you start to enjoy being a powerful, important person in society. It feels good to truly help people and hear genuine thank yous from them as they leave your reception, something you don’t hear in almost any other job. You also see all kinds of crazy and interesting stuff. And the best icing on the cake, chicks dig it, starting from the hot nurses.

Just neeting inside your room your whole life you will literally rot your brain, in addition to wasting your whole life to screens.

I pay for a concierge doctor ~$150 a month. He told me my liver is swollen need to stop drinking and lose weight. Well no shit. I’m a WFH in house lawyer, I make around 375k TC. I literally do nothing all day and it’s still economical to retain me instead of paying $1000 an hour to some biglaw partner.

1) Narcissists who love status and wealth (75% of them).
2) Empaths who actually want to help (25%).

Type 1 will pick a speciality which pays well and means niche, repetitive and little work (Psychiatrist, Ophthalmologist, Dermatologist, Surgeon and the like).

Type 2 will choose one that means long hours, dealing with lower class, often ignorant or rude patients and pays much, much less (General practitioner, family doctors et al.).
