well the main thing is since i have >50k this could be considered a building phase so it doesn't matter what i am invested in as long as it doesnt lose money. which i am picking only blue chips for my DCA even if i only get 10% each time i DCA i am getting free money working my way up to 50k. after 50k benchmark because at that amount of capital even an ETF 10% yield will feel nice a free 5k.

so basically at 50k i will allocate differently or possibly even move the 50k into VTI. then start the DCA into more stocks and restart it so have the 50k initial into an ETF then restart the DCA process into the same companies or new ones until that makes 50k. hopefully at 20% annual it gets there fast. 50k benchmark hit move it into etf now i have 100k in etf. restart.

Same with steel coming up here with the infrastructure deal. Bought up US Steel until they got bought out, moving it over to Cleveland Cliffs. I am in the logistics industry and from I am seeing this will be stronger. The rails are becoming more efficient. The shipment of new cars for example was primarily moved by car haulers, but now rail is the best way to move cars, letting the trucks move them a short distance to their dealer.
