States like Florida, Texas and Louisiana sell you on low taxes but then you just pay money to an HOA for upkeep instead of your state. Florida is the biggest midwit trap for finance. The schools are shit and hurricanes make you end up spending more than just paying taxes somewhere like Nevada or even new York. Texas has high property taxes too. You can own a massive ranch or mansion and be paying an equivalent mortgage in property taxes that THEY assess. Midwit states for people trying to move there for financial reasons.

High property taxes keep sticker prices lower and ease the burden off individual income tax. I've never seen HOAs that expensive. Usually it's like $250 at the absolute most per month and that's to essentially keep the entire place from collapsing around you so you can consider it a landscaping fee, the equivalent of paying for a roof, and so on.

I used to live in a hoa community and I can assure you this isn’t true. The hoa treats niggers with kid gloves and lets them get away with pretty much anything including missing payments. If you’re white you are scrutinized to the max. I sold and bought into a non hoa neighborhood and the people here are nicer, whiter and care more about their property.
