Therefore for every share of Teddy (for example) I receive for my BBBYQ shares there will be a shortage and those short positions will be opened on the shortsellers. It will be the shorts who will be responsible for closing their books and getting margin called. Otherwise it falls on the broker. The entire point of having a margin account is that shorts have to pledge collateral to engage in leveraged trading such as short selling. It now turns out:
1. 11.8b is the full sum used for BBBY share buybacks. The money GME used to become debt free and gain warchest, BBBY used to buy back their own shares at high prices while $5b in debt, and shortly after bankrupcy. $11.8b wasted! This was facilitated by JPM, who months later froze the assets of BBBY, such that BBBY had access to no money and had to raise money from bond sales. Same JPM who did not allow any measures of selling off BBB, or others, in bankrupcy. Same JPM who only left after being replaced as DIP, and who in court urged to be held on even after having no formal ties to BBBY estate.

2. Because the section 16b claim pushed against RC relates to buybacks. RC bought less than 10% and is no insider, everyone knows that, but the case "incidentally" revolves 100% around the buybacks. It turns out Tritton bought BBBY before buybacks were announced (illegal insider trade) and sold the high. Every claim pushed against RC, can in fact not be pushed on RC, but is now pushed on Tritton.

3. The $11.8b is new compensation from JPM to BBBY to reverse the fraud. Michael Goldberg is brought because this is indeed a fraud, and he is incentivized to fuck them up, as the gets 3% of what he manages to shake out. Goldberg was the one who brought down Madoff.

4. Because the collusion of Tritton; since he came to BBBY he recked them in about 3 years, from an indebted but functioning company to bankrupcy. Tritton did same for other companies.

Damn these organic actors coming in here and trying to stir the pot on everything is a blessing. I am relieved that they care about my investment that much because we can agree beyond all reasonable doubt that this has transcended trolling, therefore:

I am extremely demoralized, so when we get new equity and cash in exchange for our bbbyq shares that were removed from peoples’ accounts due to a pending corporate merger and acquisition action, I will surely sell the new stock for any price I can get. Why would I, or anyone else hold the new equity and use the cash to buy even more? This exactly why they are so incensed about keeping the fud everpresent on this general. BBBYQ was viciously cellar boxed and basically created MOASS tier conditions in a literal bear trap. They thought they saw the signals of death spiral financing and they let the floodgates open for naked short selling thinking they were picking the meat from a carcass.
Only to find out that they were set up and all of those naked shares they sold will need to be closed out once new equity is distributed.
Shills pretend like this is impossible because the shares were cancelled. But this is not so. All that happens is everyone on record for being long the stock will be owed the cash and new equity. The problem arises in that the new shares the brokers receive will not match the corresponding number of longs to whom they sold shares. So their books don't balance. So anyone of their clients who was shorting will have that cash and equity disbursement dropped onto their margin accounts. They will need to 1) pay the cash and liquidate assets to meet that margin call. and 2) they will be forced to close out the negative equity on their books by buying the new Teddy shares from the longs who have the rightful shares. This is the ONLY way the brokers can balance their books. And it is the shorts who will get blown out on the front lines before the brokers and ultimately the DTCC and Fed.
It's all too good to be true? Is it not? But this is the logical result of naked short selling and why it is illegal. They broke the supply/demand curve and now the infinity pool is real. Hedgies admit this themselves and shillies betray its validity with their tears
