Depends how much of a proportion do those „12k“ take of your whole net worth. I wouldn‘t throw too much at Cardano, considering that they messed up the Shelly update in a way by which owners of a Byron era wallet have to pull off some kind of voodoo to recover their funds.

The rest of my crypto money is a 70/30 (started out 50/50) split in btc and eth
Honestly AVAX is probably a better bet than any other non-Bitcoin token
