xSauce will always be slightly out performing Sauce. So to get your rewards you can swap back to Sauce or just sell your xSauce. It's called liquid staking I'm not sure if any other chains do it this way.

Xsauce is just what you get when you STAKE your Sauce.

At the beginning 1 Sauce was I think 0.997 Xsauce. But now it is already 1 sauce = 1.13 Sauce.

Sauce staking is 2nd most safe as it just piggybacks off of Hedera native staking and adds swap and dex fees to rewards. The more Saucerswap is used the higher the value, the rewards, the ratio becomes.

You can buy it all.on hashpack and use the Saucerswap Dapp via hashpack and it all just stays in your wallet.

If you think Saucerswap is the best Dex go for it. I am in the same camp as op, that Saucerswap is the best Dex in all of crypto (thanks to hedera). Its also back by Hedera and not bs

I was confused when I saw that you can trade HBAR for xSAUCE. If xSAUCE is what you get when you stake SAUCE, then I was wondering how it would work if you missed out the SAUCE part and, rather than going HBAR>SAUCE>xSAUCE you went HBAR>xSAUCE.
I guess the staking rewards accrue in the value of the xSAUCE rather than adding SAUCE to your staked bag?
I guess I'll have to look into it, cos it seems a bit different and counterintuitive.

You can go straight to Xsauce now but the ratio is what I explained and works how you understood. I think...

It all starts with Sauce, so if more DEX usage, more Sauce being bought then everything regarding Xsauce increases. This will be soon be furthered once they allow Xsauce to be used in liquidity pools, that's V2 which will be release soon enough, my guess is once bull run really starts and DEX activity becomes normalized.

In terms of being counterintuitive, you are still early enough but werent as early as I or others who staked since day 1 as value of Xsauce was less/even to Sauce. To give you an idea it was at like 1.05Xsauce per Sauce in late nov/dece and now at 1.13 with still low activity BUT TVL did go from like 30something mil to over 70mil.

I still believe Sauce is the 2nd safest option in Hedera as IT WORKS, has only improved and staking just builds of Hederas native staking. So one can bypass shitcoin casino if not risky and just hold Sauce or stake with Xsauce.

There is a youtube vid of Saucerswap team, it was a zoom call early on, they were young kids who were motivated to start something. IF you wanna see the people behind the OG idea

Thanks again, anon. I actually got into SaucerSwap at the beginning, had all the NFTs and got the drop, but the token did nothing for a long time, I wasn't keen on impermanent loss, and wanted to have 500k HBAR (I hope that's enough to run a node at some point), so pulled out relatively soon afterwards.
Just regretting my decision, now, and wondering if I should swap some HBAR back into it! Dunno if it's too late, now it's pumped to near parity with HBAR, though.
I'll have a look for the videos, and info on their website, cos the project has moved on quite a bit, since I was in it, and there's loads I don't know/understand.

The vid was from memory, 4 ppl and they were really young just graduating college. Also swapping Sauce for Hbar is just doubling down on being safe. I THINK with the Sauce NFTs you get a drip or faucet wtv the fuck its calles but not sure. Buying back in now is tough as price mooned especially in your case you went from selling Sauce at 0.03 for Hbar at 0.05 and now to do the opposite you'll be down rather than up. UP to you, the V3 says you can get a boost in apr if you have those nfts.

You risk impermanent losses with liquidity pools, thats up to you if you want to play that game vs the rewards.

Not.sure if you mean stake Xsauce, but when you stake Sauce you get xsauce in return. Xsauce IS sauce + staking rewards + fees generated by DEX.

I mentioned the ratio above, its up to you if you wanna buy sauce to switch to xsauce or just buy sauce to hold or nothing.

This was back when all you could really do was yo farm in LP pools, so impermanent loss was a consideration, but as you say, staking is safe and straightforward. I'll have to think about what I want to do, cos I'd be getting far less of my SAUCE back, as you pointed out.
Having used the dex back then, I can confirm that it works beautifully. The team is very good at what they do (plus, they're are times when May looks super cute, which is never a bad thing).
