THREAD THEME
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y22tIJ6toPY
I know I'd go from rags to riches
If you would only say you care
And though my pocket may be empty
I'd be a millionaire

My clothes may still be torn and tattered
But in my heart, I'd be a king
Your love is all that ever mattered
It's everything

So open your arms and you'll open the door
To every treasure, that I'm hoping for
Hold me and kiss me and tell me you're mine evermore

Must I forever be a beggar
Whose golden dreams will not come true
Or will I go from rags to riches
My fate is up to you

nah i already cashed out, i see where that pump and dump ponzi scheme is going and it's not for me. The capitulation event when times get tough and people cash out and create a panic cascade of selling will be glorious, especially when it never recovers because it's backed by nothing, the technology has been deprecated/replaced, and it never actually represented value beyond the hype train it generated once in a bygone era. The tipping point for was when I realized how consolidated coins are into the top 96% of holders, the entire network now exists almost entirely for them to lure in speculators and fuck them over. It's pretty much been rendered useless except as a way to scam 90% of the people who are currently buying into it. The other 10% will get lucky and might profit but that's how casinos work.

Still prefer stocks because when they dump recovery is basically guaranteed if you buy an index, unless the world itself never recovers and we enter a dark age. Not going to care about money at that point anyway, I'll be foraging berries and making bullets.

that argument is still refuted by the idea that the interest is still going into your asset which also appreciates, rent disappears. I agree that it's best to buy up front though. No doubt.

>a portion of it goes into the home that they own
I guess that’s one way to look at it. Except it’s the bank that owns the home and check out the amortization schedule to see how much goes towards principal and how much goes to interest. The best part is you’re forced to pay insurance on the house that the bank owns and allows you to live in. In 30 years it will be yours so there is that.

>rentcucks literally can't refute this
you’re ignoring the down payment, which if put into the sp500 for 30 years could end up surpassing the value of the home you would own had you bought.

MARA is still a good idea, as long as you think bitcoin will go up. They have 15k BTC, their mining is efficient, and their mining capacity should continue to go up(to double what it is now in the next 18 to 24 months). The halving makes it more complicated, but they should survive over other miners and get a larger share of mining when others capitulate. If you would make money with BTC, you should make more with MARA.

They're subscription/ordering backend software systems are fucking awful, and it seems like they're specifically designed to rip off customers who then have to call customer support and complain
It's taking me a lot of work to make sure my gift cards get used without me getting charged
So... I think they're good at luring people in with discounts and then scamming them
So they seem to make money...
