My take is that AI is following the exact same trend as the 90s Dot Com Bubble, where it's something that will have genuine valuation and change a lot about how the world works in the long-run, but people are jumping the gun and getting ahead of themselves in the short-run. I'm assuming a similar trend of hype, followed by a crash, followed by about a decade of low values before the technology starts to really reach massive market penetration and prices go back up again. Most countries in the world would be hard pressed to move a notable index with its combined capital these days. It would have to be a combined effort, or shutting of off the valve.
