Do you think boomers will buy Inverted P3P3?

>> No.57216624

>>57214972
It's not a "job". It's a liscence to ripoff boomers, and you'll need to prove yourself to your coworkers before they let you in their money printing club full-time.

I'll say what no one else probably will: They hired you because they thought you were weak and malleable, but capable of producing. If they thought you were legit competition, you never would have sat down with anyone.

Long hours. Get a gym membership and some vitamin D tablets NOW otherwise your physical state will decline BADLY. I learned this the hard way. Aged about 5 years in my first year.

NGMI.
Also the non-shitpost answer is probably quite a lot of mental anguish. That kind of environment eats your brain. I worked at a bank for a few years. Dunno if it's that similar but if it is I'd advise you to find ways to cope right now for use later down the line.

Both panels who interviewed me said what set me apart from the rest of the competition was my cover letter, not my resume. You can imagine that big Fortune 500 companies get 1000 identical resumes for open positions (especially finance related jobs), so my advice (for what it’s worth) is to utilize your cover letter to really hone in on what makes you unique and desirable as an employee. For me, I emphasized the fact that I am a student athlete at the division 1 level, which makes me unique among my peers as I basically already work 60 hour weeks with sports on top of high academic achievement. They mentioned more than once how impressed they were with that and how that sold them on me. My resume was the same as everyone else’s, but my cover letter set me apart.
>tldr: Put some more effort and personal detail into your cover letter.

>my resume including being a top 1% amateur athlete who did it for 0 (zero) monetary compensation

>> No.57217975

>>57217954
Haha, yes I realize it’s kind of convenient for me, but everyone has something that makes them unique and desirable as an employee (even if that something needs to be embellished a little bit on the resume/cv). So find that little something or just fucking make one up, but be ready to talk about it and why it makes you different than everyone else.

>fucking make one up
Surefire way to get blacklisted permanently.

>So find that little something
It was the accolade from an accredited institution that jibes with the country club. Having the degree or an extracurricular isn't enough, and you owe it to the people that supported you directly and allowed opportunity to access power.
Well done and congrats for you, but don't delude yourself into thinking it was only hard work by your merit that got you there.
It's an insiders world, tribal, and the developed world is regressing to feudalism.

Don't screw up, it's high risk high reward, the only failures I've seen have all promptly killed themselves.

>> No.57218119

Perhaps modern society wouldn't be so divisive and dysfunctional, and resentful, if the powers that be were honest and upfront that hard work, sheer grit alone will never guarantee success and that the powers TO be had a mandated understanding that the virtue signaling around hard labor and sacrifice is only wage labor propaganda to promote the creation of factory and service workers that are expected to live to work, shit out the next generation of worker, and then die. We live in a global society of 2 parallel realities between capital barons and wage workers that potentially have nothing.

So what to do if one is antisocial (does not talk with anyone or have any friends) and not particularly intelligent, but has good grades in university and spends most the time there reading the textbooks

In addition, you were given the opportunity because you ingratiated yourself to folks that already have power, because you were given the opportunities and support structure to achieve and succeed, you have merit, but the people you are about to meet of a social tribe that denigrate and detest outsiders and everyday people in society that they gamble on, not groomed from their institutional stock.
I don't know that institutional managers are all born sociopaths but they're all invariably manipulated into them.

use your alma mater to make connections and get moneys. If you really can't function around anyone, your only options are to start a business with a skill that will make you money, go hustle, go work a normal wage job that will keep you homeless, or broke, or poor, or let you live the average middle class lifestyle with the occasional vacation per year, standard benefits, standard life, or just kill yourself if you can't make it work.
