Why are so many anons here risk-averse? Why invest in ETFs when you can familiarize yourself with crypto cycles and the shitton of discussions we have on it daily for years now?

>> No.57171973

because that's gambling.
half of the posters here are just shitposting and the other half are paid shills

Because most people are in a state of constant fear

This would require all these hare-brained NEET cryptoniggers to think long term.

The crypto market attracts loads of lazy NEET retards with a false promise of easy money.
Their meager NEET savings are rarely enough to make it, even if they 10x a couple of times over the years.
In the off-chance they try to swing trade or do anything bolder, they just end up providing liquidity to those of us that know what we're doing.

If they had the work ethic and discipline to actually learn the skills required, they wouldn't be here. They would be gainfully employed.

i prefer to make a few good crypto trades a year vs trying to time the market and hope for the best. I now have wealth I don't wanna lose so I put it into ETFs to appreciate while I gamble on the side.

Because being risk-averse is a safe reproductive strategy.

Because crypto is just a giant scam. It's just one person dumping their bags on another. Anyone that puts more than 5% of their investment capital into crypto is either a retarded child moonboi or a braindead lottery scratching moron.

>Risk-averse
Nice mental gymnastics to avoid saying "why aren't more anons in this board gambling addicts like me". Literally all I want to do now after daytrading for like 3 years is just throw my money at some stocks, BTC's ETF and play blockchain vidya for extra minor passive income. If Blocklords releases in a healthy, green environment, and Defi Kingdoms does a proper comeback, I'll be literally more than happy. It's OK to not seek becoming a millionaire by taking extremely risky crypto-infused shortcuts.

And magically he'll be sitting on a gold mine.

>Work ethic xD muy discipline XD
Brother. We are talking about crypto here, aren't we? I made tens of thousands trading stupid fucking shitcoins. Relax with your cold shower autism you assimilated from gay ass turbo autistic redpill podcasts.

You quite literally just need to buy the dip dude lol.

I remember a couple of months ago when people said HURR DURR BNB IS DEAD and look at it now. It has fully recovered since the SEC FUD

it's not really gambling when you learn ta patterns and asset history. i mean sure it's like 50% gambling still but at that point you have enough of an advantage to (mostly) remove the randomness/luck aspect out of it all.

it's ok to just want to play vidya and quietly invest. as long as you can get out of the rat race by the time you hit 40 it's all good imo, who cares what i think but it's still pretty much an objective ideal in my mind.

This applies to 4chan as a whole though not just biz. It's much more noticeable here because the board is dead but /pol/ has bots and paid shills too completely making the board unusable

Who are you talking about and why do you care haha. Pretty corny anon, you should seek a better life for yourself instead of looking at other men's lives.

>>57172484
Yeah, because traditional stocks are so much safer and offer just as much money as crypto usually does. For sure.

what are you talking about you rambling retard, almost all of /biz/ is a crypto board
ive almost never seen ETF discussions, let alone more sophisticated topics (factor vs market, s&p500 vs global portfolio, whether you should invest in emerging markets and thus finance filthy subhuman niggers, etc)

>> No.57174335

Why not both? I only have one life, so I'd rather not have it all pinned on crypto. But I invest routinely in my Bitcoin and ETFs. If all goes well the crypto upside will grant me earlier wealth. If not, I'm still retiring early.
