I have some £20-30k, what should I invest in.

I would have gone Big Tech but it already pumped in 2023.

Other stocks (energy, consumer stables, manufacturing) don't seem to grow ever.

Not interested in crypto.

Maybe pharma? Hmmm

You know if you feel adventurous you could buy some shares now and sell them just before April, bagging gains, if any, within this year's CGT allowance.

Nextera? The chart doesn't look great...
The thing with tech seems that people always want to pump money into it.

Energy and Precious Metal stocks are good for long-term swing trading.

Consumer Staples barely move. If you want a generally safe sector that slowly moves upwards over time with relatively little downside risk, buy Utilities.

Industrials are great growers, so I don't know where you got the idea that manufacturing doesn't grow.

Tech is purely a momentum trade. If you think the S&P 500 is going to keep growing, you might as well just buy a large-growth tech fund and outperform the S&P 500 by double. Just remember if the S&P 500 dumps, your tech fund is going to dump just as hard, or harder.

Crypto is purely for short to medium-term gambling.

Healthcare grows similar to Utilities. Slow, but safe and steady.

If you want low risk, but still want to own stocks with minimum management, just get a Healthcare, or Utilities fund.

This will be the only good advice I give on 4chan this year. Happy New Year OP.

Interesting, cheers.

I may have been too dismissive of manufacturing, in truth I haven't researched the sector enough.

What's your view on S&P for the next 2-3 years?

Many said it would bomb last year but instead it exploded again and is now almost at ATH.

Enjoy missing out on the 300% gains in this year, dumbfuck.

I should add that I think tech is the future. The more it dominates our life, the more people will perceive it as important, and the more stocks will grow. It's a simplistic analysis but I really think that's all there is to it.
However, I am somewhat nervous about overexposing myself to it when the shares are almost at ATH.

A global stock index fund.

If you haven't already maxxed your 2023/24 ISA then fill that immediately, and put in the rest on the first day of the next tax year.
