I keep a running list of restaurants in my town that don’t verify door dash drivers and have the pickup shelves in front of the counter. Nobody ever makes contact, nobody cares, the restaurant just remakes the order and makes the door dasher wait.

If you need extra added security just have your phone out and pretend you’re looking at the screen while you check the weight of the bags or the receipts for what food is in the bag. The way I see it, it punishes the poorfag doordasher who can’t get a real job and the asshole who is too lazy to go out and pickup the food has to wait even longer. Double win for me
