>boring zero skill wfh bureaucratic job
>no friends or social experiences since school, over 10 years ago
>no female attention ever
>haven't been outside the country for over 10 years
>never worked in high finance, big tech, or a fast moving startup
>live in a boring part of the country and moving to London would reduce my ability to save

I feel like I'm in a professional dead end. I am utterly charismaless and do not have the liability or normieness to be promoted above my current level. I have no specialised technical skills.

I wish I could move to the USA and sacrifice my non-existent social life for more money but moving to the USA as a civilised British person is near impossible.

I currently save £2k per month in a lazy wfh job but I don't know how long it will last and it's fucking boring.

Entrepreneurship or anything like that seems like a crapshoot. I've never made money in any way other than waging.

I'm an ugly nerd and I'm seriously considering joining the UK army reserve to shake things up. But I would feel pathetic joining another slow moving bureaucracy, being bossed around by giga normies.

What can I say, your life sucks harder than my 15 year old girlfriend.

Same but probably 10 years older than you and can only put £1500 away every month if I spend absolute bare minimum.

That all changes today, bro. You have nothing to do with your time or life except take up learning something that has the potential to earn you higher income. If you don’t do it life remains the same, if you do then you get out. Time to start trying. You will make it out and life will be more interesting and fulfilling but you are going to initiate it now.

He's too burned out to do that. And also gay. Let him fester in the hole he dug himself.

Are you even safe?

Very similar situation to you OP, also in the UK and working from home, extremely bored with life.

End of January I'm going on a road trip across Europe on my motorbike for 6 months. Going to start developing apps and maybe do some other stuff because I hate working for a company and desperately want to be self employed. Then I can travel whenever I want within reason. If my company finds out and sacks me then so be it.

You need to shake things up. Push yourself out of your comfort zone and live a bit. Your problem is that you're in a down place, and therefore every idea gets filtered through a negative lens and doesn't appear worth the trouble. So, the action will need to come before the feeling is right. Go out and do something, anything.
