Off topic but sort of on topic

Should I create new private keys for my Bitcoin cold storage if I connected my cold storage device to metamask and transacted using the same keys I hold my Bitcoin on through metamask?

Never actually typed in my keys into anything on metamask, but the metamask did connect with my trezor and connected to the same private keys I use for btc storage

Probably just better off making a new set of private keys aren’t I?

I don't see why that would be an issue, they're separate apps on the device
Metamask has nothing to do with other apps

Rabby, for two main reasons:
1) Tells you exactly what your transaction is going to do, tons of warnings for things like transferring to wallets you've never interacted with, way better UX for making transactions safely
2) Portfolio info includes staked tokens and margin positions, rather than just tokens in wallet.
It works anywhere that MM works. Way better.

2016fag here. Back in my day we didn't have metamask. We used cold storage or downloaded our coins to a paper wallet. Back then wallets had pictures of QR codes on them. You'd say nice just bought 100k sats. Bitcoin was $2400 a coin back so I left my coins on bittrex which was the style at the time. So back in my day we didn't have metamask.

no, because all private key signing happens only on the device. All the wallet info on metamask is based off your public key address which is, well, public.

Rabby was made by DeBank (Chinese company)... I think they're mocking the Jews...

The API is closed-source, which I find a tad suspicious. Sticking with MetaMask until they fully open-source it.

I remember the rumors last year leading up to Christmas, that Metamask was going to surprise airdrop. Same this year. You would think it would be a no-brainer for them. Their market share has got to be pretty solid, this would make it hard to beat. I don't appreciate the bombardment of boys on twitter.if you mention the name, though.

Consensys, the US corporation that owns metamask, infura, and decrypt.co is under a lot more regulatory pressure and scrutiny now. Much more than in the early days of uniswap when airdrops were raining down on everyone all the time and the govt had their thumb so far up their own ass that didn't even realize money was being given to plebs without regulatory permission.
