You don’t need to own a plane (that requires 9 figs), but you need to be able to afford to charter jets at $10k - $50k per leg.

I'd rather not. I remember years ago when I visited Thailand for the first time and I calculated that it would only take $1.5 million for me to live there comfortably for the rest of my life. Then I visited again and realized how boring it gets to constantly be fucking their women with nothing else to do. I would rather be wealthy enough to live and work a few hours in the USA and travel for a few weeks at a time to different countries. It's much more balanced and fun that way.

I'm not necessarily saying that Thailand is boring. It's one of my favorite places in the world regardless of sex. But wtf would I be doing there outside of the tourist shit and women? At least in the USA, I still have my family, friends, high standard of living, and the ability to work (though I want to bump down from 40+ hours to only 15-20 per week).

Unless you're married with children I would highly recommend living at least one year outside of the U.S. The U.S. and the west in general is insanely restrictive, both financially and socially. I found life outside the U.S. to be much lighter and brighter, as if a weight was taken off of me.

I did this and now that I have kids it feels the exact opposite. Outside the USA is hell with kids as most places were never designed with children in mind, have shitty food safety standards just generally, or are extremely restrictive, whereas the USA feels like it was built for mini-vans, big houses, and buying in bulk. Traveling for fun is for single people under 25.
