There are 50k+ open contracts for Jan monthly alone, and while spreads are wide due to high uncertainty in the outcome it's still pretty easy to get a decent fill near the midpoint. I see good volume across most reasonable strikes every day.
Many tickers of this size have a forced 5 cent bid/ask spread.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'd really like to be debt free. I'm leveraging a promotion next year and doing as much overtime @ work as I can so I don't think the side hustle is worth it. It's pretty much either tackle debt from high interest and going down, or ignore it and save for a home down payment and then slavemax the debt away. I just don't know what to do and I'm very emotional (i.e. irrational) about how to go about it.
