the fact that a project like blocklords doesn't have a token yet is a good or bad sign? considering it's a web3 game it's weird that it doesn't have one yet. But then I study the cases of world of warcraft, metin2 or medivia and I appreciate and think that having a tradable token is not such a good idea.

Game developers need to take this into consideration when building games and they can utilize the free npc labor as part of the game. Hell a game that paid out real money and was based on mindless pvp would do well if the players were incentivized to kill farmers who attempted to farm.
